“Beauty and healing wear the same guise and look out of the same eyes.“

Could anything be more supremely, stunningly central to human life than the face? Is it any wonder that this remarkable concentration of sensory lusciousness and power is also a graph upon which all the diminutive (and not so) secrets of our health and vibrancy are inscribed? Through the lens of classical Chinese medicine we experience the face as portal to not only the mysteries of the body and consciousness but also as a consecrated glimpse into our True Nature. Our true nature, we know, is to radiate light. The face is the essence of human luminosity, and facial acupuncture/acupressure provides direct access to vibrant health, producing immediate and noticeable results. Embodying beauty is a sacred practice: we are nothing short of nectar-filled flowers, here to revel in and share our beauty and our Light. How fortunate we are that embodying beauty has a bona fide spiritual benefit!

Under the expert guidance of classical Chinese medical practitioner, herbalist, medicine maker and healer Joshua Geetter from Telluride, we'll explore the facial microsystem and receive acupuncture treatments bolstered by oils chosen to support specific conditions. He’ll share practical and esoteric treasures from his Taoist lineage with our tribe, including the intricate reciprocity between facial signs and deeper organic symptoms. We'll also be spoiled with foot massages (by Venus Castelberg) and herbal elixirs, and will leave with individual acupressure protocols chosen to bring maximum juice and luminosity to our faces.

FULL MOON South American Ritual Spa, Copal, Palo Santo Ritual & DEVA'S Return, June 15

This gathering is so chock full of divine glorious life force that it makes up for the months we missed. We will be coming together to honor the full moon, honor Lord Buddha's birth (that's right - that very night), and love on ourselves and each other with spa practices, but perhaps most divinely we will be welcoming back tribe goddess DEVA MUNAY, who has been in south america doing the deep dharma work and high art of her life.

Deva will share some stories and images (and you know from her letters that she is a rocking photographer) and together we will partake in the sacred burning of copal resin to thank the gods and goddesses for her safe return. We will also be using palo santo essential oil in a ritual and birthday/birthing practice!

What is aroma nidra?
Aroma nidra is the powerful practice of yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, married with the sensory experience of essential oils, which themselves transport us to deeper states of consciousness, accessed through the limbic system of the brain.   It is a luminal state of mind hovering between wakefulness and dream, which accesses deep levels of normally inaccessible consciousness, with magical results.
We use sacred oils such as Frankincense, Palo Santo, Cedarwood, and Spikenard to evoke deeper states of consciousness, while guiding you through the nidra journey.
