Traditional Functions: The herbs in this formula have all been used for respiratory support in traditional medicines of their cultures. Osha root is also known as “Bear root”. Bears eat it to clear their lungs after hibernation. Osha root also looks like the bronchi and bronchials of the lungs. This “doctorine of signatures” representation of the lungs indicates its use for respiratory. Echinacea is a traditional European respiratory and throat remedy. Elecampane root is a traditional respiratory tonic. Traditional functions of this formula include decongestant, expectorant, antifebrile, antibiotic and antiviral.
